Bryn is Associate Vice Chancellor for Research & Innovation and Managing Director of Venture Partners at the University of Colorado Boulder. Together with his team, he works with university researchers and the extended innovation ecosystem to commercialize innovations created at the University of Colorado. Bryn oversees all Venture Partners functions, including entrepreneurship training and mentorship, the I-Corps Hub, Ascent deep tech accelerator, the Lab Venture Challenge and other founder funding opportunities, intellectual property management, licensing, and strategic partnerships. Venture Partners directly supports larger campus goals of innovation, positive societal impact, and faculty and student development.

Within the larger Colorado community, Bryn serves on the Investment Advisory Board of the Buff Venture Fund, the board of the Colorado Bioscience Association, and the Boulder Subcommittee of the Innosphere Ventures board. Bryn is a principal investigator for the Colorado-Wyoming Climate Resilience Engine, a regional consortium funded by the National Science Foundation, which builds new ventures and innovations to address drought, wildfire, and other climate challenges.

Bryn has been with the University of Colorado since 2009 and prior to that was with the industry liaison office at the University of British Columbia. He began his career in research innovation at GlaxoSmithKline, where he managed disease genetics and pharmacogenetics research. He holds an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Victoria, a master's in biotechnology from the University of Toronto, and a second master’s degree in counseling psychology.

Maja Pozar Andrejasic is the director and co-founder of REC d.o.o., which develops innovative solutions for managing battery systems for applications in electric vehicles, vessels, aircraft and solar power plants. Maja’s journey began in the realm of research and development during her physics studies at the University of Ljubljana and continued at academic institutes.

Her career trajectory reflects her unwavering commitment to exploration and growth, so in 2009 she and her partner decided to start their own company to help make a difference in the world by using their knowledge – their aim is a greener planet for all. In the field of energy storage, the company was selected among the TOP 10 in Europe 2020. The export-oriented company operates globally, with a presence in more than 40 countries around the world.

Magdy Shehata is an active angel investor, a mentor and a serial entrepreneur. He is the founder of Söderhub, a company that connects Nordic businesses with tech talent in Egypt through remote teams. Magdy is also the CEO and Co-founder of FunRock, a Swedish mobile gaming company, and the Vice President and Co-founder of Fragbite Group, a publicly-traded company since 2021 with a focus on M&A in gaming and e-sports.

Magdy is an active angel investor and a mentor to several startups in Europe and the MENA region, and he is a member of the Swedish Institute Network for Future Global Leaders (NFGL) and Alexandria Angels Network.

He is a Ph.D. candidate in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm. He holds a MSc degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management from the KTH and a BSc degree in Computer Engineering from Pharos University.

Aleksander Djoković is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of expertise in strategic sales, marketing, and innovation within B2B and technology markets. His extensive experience spans digital asset management, cloud computing, channel development, and go-to-market strategies. With a robust background in both established firms and agile startups, Aleksander has consistently delivered top-line growth by leveraging data-driven insights, crafting compelling brand narratives, and driving new product innovations.

Known for his strategic acumen and commitment to nurturing growth, Aleksander excels at fostering high-impact partnerships and leading cross-functional teams to execute on ambitious objectives. His portfolio includes the successful expansion of cloud services across Global markets and establishing strategic partnerships in emerging technologies, providing startups with the resources and guidance needed to scale.

Motivated by a strong commitment to giving back to the entrepreneurial community, Aleksander is passionate about mentoring startups, equipping them with tools to navigate the complex business landscape, and helping founders transform vision into scalable impact. As a mentor, he combines real-world business insights with a deep understanding of market dynamics, aiming to empower the next generation of innovators.

Gregor is a Zurich-based entrepreneur with a strong background in biotech and venture capital. He leads a spinoff developing a novel osteoarthritis therapy, overseeing scientific and business strategy, funding, IP, and industry partnerships.

Previously, Gregor was a Venture Capital Fellow at M Ventures in Amsterdam, where he evaluated healthcare and life science opportunities. He contributed to a Series B refinancing of a clinical-stage company and conducted market landscaping for emerging technologies.

Gregor earned his PhD at the University of Bern, specializing in biomaterials and drug delivery systems, including lipid-based nanoparticles. His work resulted in several publications and a patented osteoarthritis treatment. Earlier in his career, he co-founded the leading Swiss NGO for connecting industry and academia in Switzerland and worked at Lonza on biologics and cell therapy formulation, securing another patent.

Darko Dujič is an entrepreneur and leader focused on digital transformation, B2B2C platforms and business modeling. As the CEO and partner of WeTeh, he has built a number of user ecommerce platforms in different countries. He runs an investment and management firm that specializes in online shopping, building user and marketplace platforms, data analytics and marketing technology.

Over ten years, Darko and his team pioneered the creation and expansion of comparison shopping platforms, propelling them into the global top 35. Serving millions of monthly users and partnering with over 1,000 retailers across the CEE region, his strategic guidance yielded remarkable tenfold revenue growth, elevated user engagement, and successful exits.

With a prior tenure at Google, Darko excelled as Country Business Development Manager and Head of Performance for Google Adriatic. His expertise spans transformative digital shifts and sales enhancements, fortified by esteemed top management and strategic marketing roles at GfK, Mercator, and Pivovarna Union.. Additionally, Darko’s impact extends to being a Google mentor and Ambassador for Digital Education, a co-investor in the startup angel venture fund Silicon Gardens, and an EGI accelerator, Barcelona.

Having founded a number of companies from the ground up and invested in startups spanning online trade, marketplaces, adtech, ecomtech, and fintech, Darko remains a steadfast source of strategic scale up, platform and product counsel across diverse industries. He was a CEO and partner of Ceneje (CSE), which he successfully exited in 2018, and became a board member at Heureka Group, the acquiring company.

Darko earned a master’s degree in strategic marketing and consumer behavior from IMB, University of Ljubljana. He pursued advanced studies through Google Academy at Duke University, solidifying his position as a trailblazer in business digitalisation. His dedication to holistic knowledge led him to pursue a postgraduate course of information and communication technologies at Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School in Ljubljana.
